Shlomo Nimrodi CEO
Shlomo has many years of experience leading global companies in a diverse range of industries. He has led three IPO’s and was involved with several M&A transactions. Shlomo served as the CFO and COO of Indigo during its most critical years toward becoming a world prominent player in the digital printing market. For the past seven years Shlomo was CEO of Ramot, the Business Engagement Center of Tel Aviv University, the single largest research institution in Israel, leading the innovations and entrepreneurship toward the formation of more than 60 startup companies and licensing of hundreds of technologies to multi-national companies in a wide range of industries around the world.
Prior to joining Highcon, Mr. Varon served as the Executive VP Sales & Marketing of VIM Technologies, previous to which he was the CFO of Printar and NUR Europe, a subsidiary of Nur Macroprinters (Nasdaq-SCM: NURM). Before joining NUR, Mr. Varon held various positions in Scitex including that of Vice President Finance at Karat Digital Press, the joint venture of Scitex and KBA. He holds a BSc degree in Economics and M.B.A from the Hebrew University
Jens has over 30 years in the industry Prior to joining Highcon he was Director, Industry and Solution Sales, EMEA at HP. He held a wide range of technical, sales & marketing and management roles at Indigo and then HP. Before joining HP he spent 11 years in management roles at Purup-Eskofot. He holds an M.Sc, and Ph.D, in high-speed electronics, laser physics from the Technical University of Denmark and a Business Degree, International Trade and Financing from Copenhagen Business School.
Michael has over 30 years of experience building and leading high performing sales teams for world leading technology companies like Microsoft, HP, Scitex, Kodak and Agfa. Prior to joining Highcon, Michael was Vice President of Sales USA for Agfa Corporation. As VP of sales for the USA, Michael was responsible for providing transformational sales leadership that resulted in record setting success for his teams. Over his career Michael has gained a strong reputation for providing sales leadership and strategies that help companies achieve significant growth.
Dvir has many years’ experience in leading multidisciplinary R&D organizations. Dvir was SVP R&D at HP/Indigo (Digital Press Systems), General Manager of Applied Materials SEM Division (nanometer scale measurement and imaging systems), VP R&D at Negevtech (Laser based wafer inspection systems) and recently led a breakthrough imaging project for Landa Digital Printing. Dvir holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from The Technion, Israel and graduated from the Advance Management Program at Harvard Business School, USA.
Simon started out 27 years ago at Scitex. He has spent most of his career driving analog-to-digital transformations – digital proofing, computer-to-plate, direct-to-press and digital printing. For the past 14 years he’s been at HP Indigo where among other roles he headed up their Strategic Marketing and served on the executive management board. Most recently he was Regional Business Manager in Central & Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Shmuel joined Highcon in June 2019. He started his career at Indigo almost 25 years ago, and served in operations and engineering management roles; Further roles were at EMC for more than 8 years, as VP of Global Operations and Israel Site Manager at Comverse and MRV and most recently VP Global Operations at Attenti, developer of monitoring solutions.
Shmuel holds an MSc. In mechanical engineering and an MBA from Tel Aviv university.
Prior to joining Highcon at the end of 2010, Tal served for 15 years in a variety of R&D and management roles in Scitex and HP Scitex. His experience in developing and leading the development of pre-press and wide format digital printing products through the full product life cycle, from problem definition through design, validation, production and field implementation allows him to have comprehensive view of the whole product aspects – customer needs, innovative technological solutions, productivity and serviceability. Tal holds a BSc in mathematics and computer science from Tel-Aviv university and MBA from Heriot-Watt university.
Alon Bar-Shany is the former General Manager of HP Indigo. During his tenure at HP Indigo as the General Manager, Bar-Shany was recognized for having grown the Company by over $1 billion in revenues. Prior to that he ran the HP Indigo business in EMEA, led the worldwide Indigo channel business and was CFO of Indigo at the time of its acquisition by HP. Alon was also a member of the global DSCOOP board working with customers to create a community focused on sharing and growth. Alon served overall at Indigo for 25 years in a variety of roles including CFO, Corporate VP Finance. He joined HP Indigo from Israel Chemicals Ltd.
Fiona M. Darmon is a General Partner with Jerusalem Venture Partners (JVP), one of the world’s leading venture capital funds with hubs of innovation in Jerusalem, Beer Sheva and New York City.
A veteran of the VC and public markets investment scene, Fiona has close to twenty years of experience in investing, venture capital, strategic planning and capital raising in public and private companies. Fiona previously held a variety of executive roles with publicly-traded Israeli investment conglomerate, Koor Industries, as well as serving as a founding member of the first Israeli corporate VC – Koor CVC.
Founder & CEO, Landa Corporation
Pioneer of digital printing and founder of Indigo (acquired by HP in 2002), now at Landa Corporation Benny continues his visionary pathway—pioneering futuristic nanotechnology applications in the fields of imaging, energy and health.
His vision for the future also includes investment in promising Israeli technologies through Landa Ventures and the philanthropic promotion of equal opportunities through education by means of the Landa Fund.
With over 700 patents worldwide, Benny is the printing industry’s and Israel’s most prolific inventor. Recipient of numerous honors and awards, including the imaging industry’s prestigious Edwin H. Land medal, he has also been awarded numerous lifetime achievement awards and honorary doctorates.
Adina Shorr serves as a director in Stratasys and Resonai. Ms. Shorr was the Chief Executive Officer of Scodix, a company that provides digital enhancement solutions to commercial printers and converters between September 2018 and September 2020. Prior to that, she served as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Lucidlogix Ltd. Before that, Ms. Shorr had served as the Chief Executive Officer of CellGuide Ltd. (which was acquired by Lucidlogix). Ms. Shorr served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Objet Ltd. (formerly known as Objet Geometries, Ltd.), one of the two predecessor companies to Stratasys Ltd., for a six-year period ending in March 2009, and also served as its President.
Shorr has extensive experience in leadership and management of technology, systems and solutions stemming from her over twenty-year career in the high-tech sector, both in the United States and Israel. She served as Corporate Vice President of Leaf Products at Creo Inc where she initiated and led in 2000 the establishment of Leaf Products, a start-up for professional digital photography within Creo. Prior to that time, at Scitex, Ms. Shorr served as the President and General Manager of the Scitex Input Division. In the USA Shorr worked in IBM in a sales support capacity and for Unisys in Program Management and was responsible for the management of the business facets of the Unisys Network Computing Division. Ms. Shorr has served as a director of Advanced Vision Technology Ltd. and was a director of Objet Geometries Ltd. Ms. Shorr holds an MBA and a BA, both with honor, from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan.
Giora Bitan has served for many years in senior management roles in large high-tech companies like Scitex (in the printing industry), ECI (communications), where he was Vice President and CFO. Giora has also been a senior partner in Venture Capital Funds (Giza, Poalim Ventures) where he led notable exits. Previously, Giora was Director in public companies and amongst them M Systems, Virage, ECTel (all on NASDAQ), Mey Eden and even the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, as well as a number of private high-tech companies
Joseph Tenne serves as a financial consultant to Itamar Medical Ltd., an Israeli company listed on NASDAQ and on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (“TASE”). Mr. Tenne serves as a director of AudioCodes Ltd., an Israeli company listed on NASDAQ and on TASE, MIND CTI Ltd., an Israeli company listed on NASDAQ, OPC Energy Ltd., an Israeli company listed on TASE, Sapir Corp Ltd., an Israeli company listed on TASE and Ratio Oil Explorations (Finance) Ltd., an Israeli company listed on TASE.
From August 2014 to April 2017, Mr. Tenne served as the VP Finance and CFO of Itamar Medical Ltd. From 2005 to 2013, Mr. Tenne served as the CFO of Ormat Technologies, Inc., a company listed on the New York Stock Exchange. From 2006 to 2013, Mr. Tenne also served as the CFO of Ormat Industries Ltd., an Israeli holding company which was listed on TASE and was the parent company of Ormat Technologies, Inc. From 2003 to 2004, Mr. Tenne was the CFO of Treofan Germany GmbH & Co. KG, a German company, which is engaged in the development, production and marketing of oriented polypropylene films. From 1997 to 2003, Mr. Tenne was an assurance partner in Kesselman & Kesselman, Certified Public Accountants in Israel (PwC Israel). Mr. Tenne holds a B.A. in Economics and Accounting and an M.B.A. from Tel Aviv University. Mr. Tenne is also a Certified Public Accountant in Israel.
Sigal Kalmanson Cusnir is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Starget Pharma Ltd. a start-up developing a novel cancer targeted therapy delivery platform. She is also a co-founder and seed start-up investor in a range of industries including technology, medical and sustainability and was a former co-founder of InfiApps Ltd. a gaming company acquired by Stride Gaming Plc.
Previously, she held various executive management positions at global companies. From 2009 to 2013 Sigal served as the Vice President Marketing & Business operation at Microsoft Israel. As part of her role, she led the Microsoft Cloud Services entry to the Israeli market. Prior thereto, Sigal held various management roles between 2001 and 2009 at Comverse Inc. including Vice President Strategic Marketing, Associate Vice President Head of InSight Product Marketing and Director of Corporate Business Development and M&A.
Between 1999 and 2000 Sigal served as a strategic consultant at Shaldor Ltd. a management consulting firm. Sigal holds a B.A. in Computer Science graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya, a B.A. in Economics graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Tel-Aviv University and an Executive M.B.A from the Kellogg Recanti program.
